The Court of Milan upheld the use of ten Roma families in which the City had first granted and then denied the allocation of public housing.
The decision was adopted today following the appeal filed by the families. The City of Milan and the Ministry of the Interior through Prefecture of Milan, after having made a firm commitment, had reneged on the floor late in the electoral needs distinctly. The Court held that the exclusion of some people from the allocation of public housing, only for reasons related to their ethnicity, it is discriminatory and therefore unacceptable.
Immediate reactions in the PDL, and especially the League pointing the finger at the judges ... forgetting that the contracts are signed or not, or if you sign then you respect it, and that this principle applies even if the beneficiaries are Roma.
